ADI Global Distribution has signed a distribution agreement with LED Studio to drive solution sales for the security and commercial sectors across UK, Spain, France, Benelux and Nordics.

Chris Godfrey, senior category manager EMEA pro AV at ADI Global Distribution explains why now is the right time for LED to be successful through the distribution model, and why they are teaming up with LED Studio.

Customer demand for LEDs has grown across all sectors. Fundamentally, everywhere you have security you have AV, from healthcare, manufacturing, and beyond.

    Why now?

We choose to work with LED Studio as LED displays are their livelihood.  The company is really pushing the limits of what can be achieved through its continual development and innovation roadmap.

LED Studio is focused on simplifying LED by removing specification and install complexities and creating modular solutions to make its products distribution friendly. Streamlining project delivery and maintenance in the field are both critical.

LED Studio’s products are available for 24/7 use, as a result of innovative manufacturing practices and by utilising the Common Cathode driver method, and displays run cool to the touch. This leads to lower power consumption and ultimately can help lead to a greater total cost of ownership.

The heat reduction also delivers impressive sustainability credentials which is important to our customers to support green initiatives.

    Futureproofed solutions

Further contributing to sustainability, the EDGE Series helps futureproof with LED Studio’s proprietary V1 architecture. This LED cabinet design is compatible with SMD, Chip On Board (COB) or Flip-Chip SMD manufacturing methods and enables pixel pitches to be upgraded, with 70% of components remaining intact to reduce waste.

The addition of LED to our portfolio, and relationship with the LED Studio team has helped increase our services and support for customers. We are actively educating them on new revenue opportunities that this presents through the development of security solutions that encompass the technology.

    What is next?

LED display technology is a rapidly expanding segment in the display industry. A notable surge in demand is evident in control rooms. The EDGE Series and its roadmap is ideal not only for conventional display applications, such as retail and corporate settings, but also in control rooms based on its dimensions. Our team is excited to offer these solutions to customers, and we can invite them to visit LED Studios global HQ and extensive showroom to see the first-hand advantages of LED displays.
