Panasonic Europe has today announced three new ultra-portable multimedia projectors. The new models include the PT-LW25H, PT-LX30H and PT-LX26H. Each weighs less than 3kg and provides up to 3,000lm brightness. The PT-LW25H model has the highest resolution of the three (1,280 x 800) and a contrast ratio of 3,000:1, while the PT-LX30H and PT-LX26H have a 2,500:1 contrast ratio, and 1.2x Zoom lens.
Throw ratios differ by model, with the PT-LW25H and PT-LX30H delivering 1.5-1.8 and the PT-LX26H throwing 1.7-2.0. Designed for education and corporate applications, the total cost of ownership of these projectors is low due to the long lamp life, which is 3,000 hours or 4,000 hours in eco mode.
The range features an Auto Set Up Function which corrects vertical keystone shaped distortion by searching for an input signal and detecting projector incline, automatically compensating for keystone picture distortion and reducing set up time. All three also have wired LAN (RJ45) capability, built-in 1W mono speaker and low audible noise during operation (34.1dB when lamps are in normal mode and 29dB when in eco mode), enabling users to carry out presentations without any sound interference.
The recommended retail prices (excluding VAT) of the projectors are:
PT-LW25H: €596
PT-LX30H: €608
PT-LX26H: €560
