Following the popularity of the Beyond Van Gogh floor-to-ceiling exhibit, the legendary landscapes of Claude Monet are on display in an immersive show in Liverpool from July 15, 2025 – August 15, 2025. Art historian Fanny Curtat is a consultant and part of the creative team bringing the works of Van Gogh and now Monet to life.
The show is roughly one hour and is set up walk-through style. People of all ages can be part of every brushstroke as Monet’s artwork comes to life in front of their very eyes. Guests can become one with the paintings as projections of Monet’s pieces swirl around, transforming the space into an ethereal representation of his life’s work. His artwork expands beyond the framed canvases through music, sound effects and scenography that will awaken the senses and create a captivating atmosphere. Beyond Monet promises to break conventions with this spectacular audio-visual journey through impressionism. In Monet’s vision lies an incandescent world without a shore, a world of fleeting and effervescent reflections. Beyond our gaze is Monet.
Created by French-Canadian creative director Mathieu St-Arnaud and his team at Montreal’s Normal Studio, Beyond Monet is an immersive experience showcasing over 400 of the artist’s works. Paquin Entertainment Group is the company that handles the cutting-edge technology.
The show is roughly one hour and is set up walk-through style. Visitors aren’t just greeted by the famous paintings, they walk and sit in the midst of them. Arguably, Monet’s most famous work was ‘Water Lilies.’ It’s estimated he painted them 250 times during the 30 years of his life. But beyond the ‘Water Lilies,’ guests will watch more than 400 Monet paintings in front of their eyes. “It really feels like you’re looking into something bigger. You really feel like you’re in the middle of something grander,” Curtat said. “It feels almost like an inner landscape.”
