Eyevis OmniSHAPES add a new dimension

With digital signage and other display solutions vying for viewers’ attention, eyevis has developed a new visual display solution that supports video wall installations of extraordinary flexiility. eyevis omniSHAPES are rear projection display modules that can be combined into a virtually unlimited range of shapes and configurations.

They work both as standalone units but can also combined together in larger display walls since every module has its own internal signal processing unit. This provides accurate geometrical adjustment of the input image to its location within the display.

The latest eyevis LED technology is said to offer lasting true colours and extended colour adjustment options. The newly developed multi-cube colour brightness adjustment option allows fully automatic adjustment and balancing of all the cubes in a video wall. Tere is no need for manual readjustments.

The modular concept of omniSHAPES from the three main building blocks (projection screen, base frame and projector) has a number of advantages. For example, resellers and integrators only need to have relatively few projectors in stock because they are interchangeable. A choice of base frames and shaped projection screens can be combined withthe projectors to create the desired size and shape of display.

The maintenance of the unit is possible both from the front and from the back. While, in the past, certain maintenance and repair jobs could not be done on site, now it is usually enough to replace the projector unit only, instead of having to dismantle the entire system.

The units are quick and easy to assemble, involving not much more than positioning and knocking together. We liked omniSHAPES because it is a remarkably simple way to achieve some really eyecatching and unusual displays.
