    ViewSonic's CDE2400 comes with a brightness of 350nits, and a 4000:1 contrast ratio, built-in 10W x 2 speakers and SPDIF digital audio output.
    ViewSonic’s CDE2400 comes with a brightness of 350nits, and a 4000:1 contrast ratio, built-in 10W x 2 speakers and SPDIF digital audio output.

ViewSonic Europe introduces a complete new line-up of large format displays for Digital Signage, targeting markets including education, business or commercial installations. One of the company’s new LFDs is the 42” CDE4200-L.

ViewSonic says the CDE4200-L is the ideal display solution for corporate presentations and communications, hotel, and retail in-store and hospitality environments. The 42-inch Full HD LED professional display features versatile input connectivity including 3x HDMI, VGA, Composite, and YPbPr. With a brightness of 350nits, and a 4000:1 contrast ratio, built-in 10W x 2 speakers and SPDIF digital audio output the display provides for a corporate environment.

In addition, the CDE4200-L includes USB cloning for easy duplication in multi-screen environments. The CDE4200-L also features automated control using RS232, HDMI CEC control, and IR pass through for easy connection to HD set-top-boxes, media players, and Blu-ray players. A programmable hospitality menu allows for custom calibration of features such as channel defaults, audio levels, and power up—making the CDE4200-L ideal for use as in-room hotel televisions, public displays in hotel and office lobbies and sports bars, in-store merchandising.

The WPG-370 provides wireless connectivity from many devices such as desktop computers, laptops / notebooks, and even tablets and Smartphones. Whether the user is presenting or displaying from a Windows, Mac, iOS or Android device, this solution makes it easy to send content wirelessly.

The content management software – Signage Manager Express now offers expanded templates in both landscape and portrait supporting HTML5 “Smart Widgets” for multi-zone screen applications. This provides a solution for in-store merchandising in a retail environment or internal communications in an office location.

“With today’s digital signage content being a mix of fixed images, computer graphics and video, this resolution communicates a message in a crisp, colorful way that draws the viewer in for an immersive brand experience. Paired with advanced auto control functions and extremely versatile input connectivity options often only found with more expensive full commercial displays, the CDE4200-L is ideal for companies looking to make a big impact with a small budget,” said Brian Wei, Director of Product Marketing for ViewSonic Europe Ltd.

The CDE4200-L comes with a three-year limited parts and labour warranty and will be available in June 2013 across Europe/Russia/Turkey for an RRP of £499/€599 (Excluding VAT).  The WPG-370 Wireless Gateway (available June 2013) RRP of £149/€169 (Excluding VAT) and NMP-570W HD Network Media Player RRP of £449/€499 (Excluding VAT).
