AbsenLive Partners with Universal Pixels and Brompton Technology

AbsenLive, a dedicated brand within Absen has announced its partnership with Universal Pixels, an award-winning leader in innovative video solutions, and Brompton Technology, a market-leading manufacturer of LED processors, at the Media Production & Technology Show (MPTS) 2025, taking place from May 14-15. Visitors to Stand C73 will experience AbsenLive’s flagship product for the virtual production market: the PR1.9.

Taking centre stage with a configurable curve and measuring an impressive 7 x 3 metres, the Absen Pixel Reality (PR) Series 1.9 is specifically engineered to create immersive backdrops for virtual production studios. Its versatile installation options include hanging, stacking, and ceiling mounting. Featuring high brightness, an innovative mechanical design, and exceptional in-camera visual performance, the PR 1.9 allows lenses to capture pristine content, even at close range. Available in two sizes, with pixel pitches ranging from 1.5 to 5.2mm and remarkable curving capabilities, it offers a comprehensive solution for diverse virtual production needs.

To highlight the PR 1.9’s full potential, AbsenLive has collaborated with Universal Pixels, renowned for providing cutting-edge video solutions that elevate live performances. Leveraging their extensive experience, Universal Pixels’ expert team delivers seamless, high-quality visuals specifically optimised for LED displays of all sizes. Furthermore, the AbsenLive stand will feature state-of-the-art LED video processing powered by Brompton Technology’s industry-leading processors. This collaboration will demonstrate how the innovative AbsenLive product range and virtual production solutions can replicate the capabilities of its products and services within a dynamic live events environment.

In addition to the PR Series, Absen’s innovative stage solution, the lightweight Saturn (SA) Series 2.6-C will be on display. Specifically designed for indoor performances, it offers versatile application in flat, curved, and ceiling-mounted configurations. Featuring a fine pixel pitch, brightness up to 1500 nits, a 1/12 scan ratio, and a 7680Hz refresh rate, the SA Series will showcase its exceptional display quality, delivering vibrant images and outstanding performance. “MPTS provides an excellent platform for AbsenLive to showcase its evolving and extensive production technology, all of which is ideally suited for both rental and permanent installations in live events, virtual production, and xR stages,” commented Jessica Golding, European Brand & Marketing Director. “Our partnership with Universal Pixels will collaboratively demonstrate both brands’ technological expertise and commitment to creating immersive and unforgettable experiences for the media production industry worldwide.”
