Ashton Bentley has been appointed as a Polycom Technology Partner allowing further development of their packaged audio-visual room systems to integrate with, and complement, Polycom collaboration solutions.

To realise the full potential of a Polycom collaboration solution, a sophisticated audio visual system is required.  This is normally achieved by integrating and installing components from different vendors into a room. Probably requiring extensive building works and additional furniture and housing for equipment racks, plus having the room out of service for days.

Ashton Bentley says that its preconfigured environments overcome this. Everything required is available, out of the box, and can be set up and working in hours with no tools.

“Our goal was to design a complete package that was easy to purchase, set-up and operate – saving costs at all stages. Our semi-automated and intuitive user interface reduces the complexity of videoconferencing and presentations for the user. This reduces techno-fear and down time in meetings.” said Tony Leedham, Ashton Bentley Business Development Director.
