AVer has announced the launch of the EVC900 and EVC300, described as the most cost-effective endpoint VC solutions on the market. Aimed at small and medium-sized businesses, the new entries to its award-winning EVC range represent superb value for money, with a one-time upfront price and no hidden extras allowing businesses to effectively manage costs.

Aver VC900_kit_jpgThe new EVC models include the EVC900 – ideal for larger conference rooms and auditoriums with a 10 point embedded MCU to connect up to 10 different locations at full HD resolution. Together with the EVC300, a four-site MCU all-in-one that’s perfect for any budget, AVer is catering effectively for small and medium sized businesses at a superb price to performance ratio.

Both devices offer full HD 1080p multipoint conferencing at 30fps with up to 1080p content sharing, and utilise a PTZ (Point, Tilt, Zoom) 16X optical zoom camera with 88° field of view for superb flexibility and clear close-ups of participants in large conference rooms, alongside industry first one-touch USB recording, even when offline, for instant archiving of key footage.

Crystal-clear audio is provided by an advanced microphone array with three individual receivers that can be daisy-changed with up for four additional microphones for superb coverage of larger areas. This array separates audio into three streams and encompasses a voice-activated layout switch to identify and emphasize the main audio source, reducing unwanted noise and focusing on the main speaker for a more natural experience.

The EVC range also includes a number of value-added extras, further improving its cost to performance ratio and ensuring that quality and performance is maintained throughout a call. This includes acoustic echo cancellation, noise reduction and automatic gain control to further enhance audio clarity, dual display and dual stream support for added flexibility and a WebTool to ensure remote access to the system from any web browser. AVer also provides its exclusive HELPer (High Efficiency Lost Packet Recovery) mechanism to ensure smooth and uninterrupted streaming by seamlessly managing bitrate and call resolution.

Easy to install, with intuitive “DIY” operation and setup wizards, easy to use with a straightforward interface and value added tools and easy to maintain with global and regional customer service, customers can be reassured that the EVC series represents a complete no-hassle solution.

The new EVC models are priced at £3,999 for the EVC300 and £7,999 for the EVC900, with no additional costs. Both come with a three year warranty and customers will benefit from AVer’s excellent levels of pre and post-sale support.
