Avocor has announced the start of its North American operations. Heading up the operation will be and board member of Avocor Global, Scott Hix. Hix has a long established history in the AV industry, with executive roles at InFocus, Planar, TargetPath and consumer brand SOL REPUBLIC. Leading a team of AV industry veterans, Hix will be responsible for running the US operations while launching the brand and its products into the market.
Hix will be joining Nigel Steljes, founder and Managing Director of Avocor, who launched Avocor into the UK market on June 1st, and recently announced expansion into Europe. Hix and Steljes have a long standing relationship, starting over 25 years ago when Steljes first launched display technology into the UK market.
