Ed Sheeran’s Mathematics world tour completed its India leg in February, supported by a d&b audiotechnik KSL PA system supplied by Mumbai-based NJSM Pro Sound. The use of d&b’s SL-Series marked a significant development for the region’s live touring sector, particularly with the tour’s streamlined logistics and consistent sound delivery across varied venues.

The India dates followed a milestone performance in Bhutan—the first international concert hosted in the country—before continuing through five Indian cities, culminating in Delhi. For this portion of the tour, Sheeran’s production adopted an end-on stage setup, prioritising efficiency and simplicity to meet the demands of a tight schedule across the subcontinent.

To ensure delivery of high-quality audio throughout, the production employed d&b’s KSL8/KSL12 line array loudspeakers, SL-Subs (both flown and ground-stacked in end-fire configuration), as well as V-Series cabinets for front-fills and delays. The system was designed to offer controlled, even coverage across each venue, supported by d&b’s cardioid technology, which is known for reducing on-stage noise and improving audience experience.

System integration and tuning were carried out by NJSM Pro Sound in close collaboration with d&b India’s Education & Application Support representative, Neil Lean. Despite the logistical challenges associated with covering such a vast geographical area, the system was successfully deployed and tuned at each location, aided by d&b’s rigging and transport solutions.

Feedback from the production team and tour engineers was positive, with consistent sound quality noted throughout the run. The use of d&b’s KSL system contributed to a reliable and repeatable touring experience, supporting Sheeran’s performances across diverse venues while maintaining audio clarity and control.
