Exterity has appointed True Colours as a distributor for the IPTV vendor’s product portfolio in the UK.

Following the StreamForce partner program introduced in 2011, which includes nearly 100 partners, Exterity says it needed to ensure it had the right distributor in place to service customers effectively. As part of the agreement, True Colours will use its scale, expertise and knowledge of the AV market to provide channel partners with the complete range of Exterity products.

This includes Exterity’s AvediaStream Encoder, Transcoder and TVgateway families, the newly launched AvediaServer 4 and the complete range of AvediaPlayer Receivers and desktop clients.

“This is an excellent opportunity for both companies to build successful relationships with new and existing customers, and we look forward to generating significant new business for our resellers through the Midwich group sales teams with the full backing and support of True Colours product specialists,” says Iain Campbell, Sales Director, True Colours.

Exterity products are now available from True Colours.

“We are committed to providing excellent customer service and working with Exterity to deliver the StreamForce partner program, thus allowing us to offer resellers an extensive range of products, as well as technical support, ensuring they are able to offer their customers the best possible solution for their needs.”

“Exterity prides itself on working with high-calibre partners that deliver future-proofed solutions for customers,” says Colin Farquhar, CEO of Exterity. “Supporting this, True Colours is the natural fit for our distribution strategy, with their proven track record in the space and experience in supplying technical support and products to resellers.

“The new distribution relationship enables partners to fully benefit from the high growth IPTV market. Continuing to defy the economic pressures being faced by other industries, Exterity’s IPTV solutions will help maintain strong revenue streams for channel partners.”
