AOC d2757Ph with 3D panel and 1000:1 contrast ratio, is available now.

The FPR (Film-type Patterned Retarder) 3D technology in AOC’s new d2757Ph display is said to deliver flicker-free videos and 3D images. Contrary to the shutter technology, there are no shutter glasses required to generate parts of the 3D effect, instead this is achieved through the technology within the monitor. The FPR 3D technology therefore only requires polarisation glasses without batteries. In addition, polarisation glasses cost a lot less than battery-powered shutter glasses. 3D glasses and a clip-on for those wearing glasses are included in the package of the d2757Ph.

The AOC screen also comes with IPS (in-plane switching), an advanced LCD technology, allowing for extremely wide viewing angles, up to 178°, enabling multiple users to experience 3D video and images from different viewing points. Featuring a static contrast of 1000:1 (dynamic contrast: 20,000,000:1), an ultra-short response time of only 5 ms and a luminance of 250 cd/m 2, the LED model offers performance not only for professional graphics usage, but also for demanding users at home.

Through a hotkey on the bezel, the integrated software can be activated, which converts various 2D content to 3D.

The design of the d2757Ph with its black, 5.8 mm thin frame allows for two or even three monitors to be placed side by side with nearly seamless transitions. Moreover, the d2757Ph comes with a detachable stand, which allows to turn the display into a large presentation monitor or giant digital picture frame.
