Hotlamps, Europe’s largest trade-only projector lamp specialist and a division of AV distributor TD Maverick, has recently launched a new version of its award winning website.  The new responsive design automatically resizes and optimises the site view dependent on the device type being used.

As well as a new fresh and much cleaner look, Hotlamps has added product images and improved the search facility.  Resellers can now make a more informed choice between buying an OEM lamp and a GO lamp with more detailed product information to review.  Alongside this revamp, GO lamps has also launched its own site at www.go-lamps.com

Simon Kitson, General Manager for Hotlamps Europe comments “We were due a refresh of our site and reviewed all the options of having a new website with a mobile site or app sitting alongside that but concluded that a responsive design ticked all boxes instead.  There is only one URL to remember, www.hotlamps.com  and you don’t need to visit an app store to get started.”

Kitson continues “With more people taking the web with them wherever they go using the medium of smartphones, along with the increased use of tablets for browsing, this is a natural development to improve reseller’s access to live price and stock data (once logged in) wherever they are.  As an “open” site (free of pricing without being logged in) it is also great for end users who can now search by projector brand and model or brand and lamp part number as well as a free text search to be sure they are ordering the correct lamp.”
