Exterity and Cilutions are to partner to make Cilution’s signage applications available on Exterity’s range of receivers. The partnership will enable Exterity customers to include digital signage into their existing IPTV solutions. The integrated offering was demonstrated at InfoComm 2012.

Cilution’s software offers users a fully configurable digital signage solution that can be used for everything from meeting room signs and menu board displays in restaurants, to advertising and security messaging in airports and public venues. These features can now be integrated with Exterity’s range of receivers by plugging a flash drive loaded with the Cilutions software into the receiver’s USB port. No other equipment apart from the Exterity head-end solution is needed.

“We’re delighted to be working with Cilutions,” said Colin Farquhar, CEO at Exterity. “We are always looking to offer our customers more than IPTV and have a long history of working with a variety of digital signage providers to give users a choice of solutions so they can pick the one that best meets their needs. This also gives our channel partners the tools to serve their customers better. Working with Cilutions allows us to offer customers that want a comprehensive, cost effective ‘out of the box’ digital signage solution, exactly that.”
