Following Microsoft’s successful launch of Surface-as-a-Service at WPC 2016, Ingram Micro UK has created its own version of Surface-as-a-Service that allows partners to supply their customers with a managed offering of Surface hardware and associated cloud software on a leased basis.

The managed program, described as the first in the UK, calls upon all the business areas of the Ingram Micro ecosystem, and will empower resellers to offer the entire Surface and Microsoft suite. The end-to-end solution will allow reseller partners to accelerate implementations for their own customers, and permit a degree of flexibility. Customers will have access to leasing options which are planned to reduce risk and will improve key financial measurements, with the adaptability of trade-in and buy-back services from Ingram Micro.

Brian Windsor, Senior Business Manager for Microsoft at Ingram Micro U.K. & Ireland, commented: “We are thrilled to be able to launch Surface-as-a-Service utilising Ingram Micro’s business services and Microsoft’s portfolio of hardware, options and software. This offering will permit our resellers to assist their customer’s transformation to digital with ease. What’s more, we have strived to build our leasing options with recurring business in mind, in order to maintain longevity of customer investment for our resellers.”
