Joel Chimoindes, vice president, Maverick, Europe has decided to leave TD SYNNEX to pursue an opportunity outside the organization.

TD SYNNEX has started a recruitment process to find a replacement. In the meantime, Hugo Graça, senior vice president, Specialized Solutions at TD SYNNEX, will assume interim leadership responsibility for Maverick in Europe.

    Statement from Hugo Graça:

“Joel has been a valued leader for our business for several years. We thank him for his many contributions in developing such a strong Maverick business in the region and we wish him all the best for the future. As we move ahead, we are absolutely committed to building on Maverick’s leading position in the professional AV, collaboration and smart signage markets. Maverick’s dynamic, forward-looking value proposition is driven by highly specialized and engaged team, with a unique organizational culture and deep, long-standing industry relationships with customers and vendors. We will continue to work to drive the business to even greater heights together united by our passion for vendor and partner success.”

    Statement from Joel Chimoindes:

“I have had a brilliant five years working with a talented and inspiring team to develop Maverick into the market leader for collaboration technology. We have put people at the heart of its strategy. I’m in no doubt it will continue to innovate and develop in this ever-changing industry and I’m proud to be handing over the reins for someone new to lead the business on the next chapter in its growth. I would like to take the chance to say huge thanks to the whole team and especially the leaders of all the European countries for their hard work and dedication.”
