SMART Technologies has launched a new SMART Reseller Accreditation Programme in the UK. SMART says the programme has been developed to enhance the sales and technical competencies of SMART’s resellers who are focused on sales to business customers. The accreditation programme is a global initiative allowing for deployment through a network of accredited resellers, so enterprise companies with offices in different markets can be assured of the same level of service in all locations.

“The SMART Reseller Accreditation Programme will help our resellers become even more competitive in the business market,” says Martine Dodwell-Bennett, sales and marketing Director, Steljes.

Through accreditation, SMART distributor Steljes argues, resellers can provide the best customer user experience and deliver a full range of services including installation, training and customer support. As SMART continues to develop new products for business customers, the SMART Reseller Accreditation Programme ensures that resellers maintain a high level of technical proficiency and product knowledge to continually enhance customer satisfaction.

SMART accreditation, it is argued, recognises the expertise of SMART resellers and builds on the value they have to offer customers. The programme enables SMART resellers in the UK to receive accreditation in SMART business solutions at one of two levels – gold or silver. Through this programme gold and silver accreditation resellers will be able to sell a variety of solutions in the SMART business portfolio. Gold accredited resellers will be given the added ability to sell SMART Bridgit data conferencing software while silver accredited resellers will not.

Training is a key element of the accreditation with both gold and silver accredited resellers committed to sales and technical training for their staff. Gold accredited resellers will have access to additional benefits in terms of sales support including a premium support line, SMART’s proof of concept programme and special product briefings arranged exclusively by SMART Technologies.

“The SMART Reseller Accreditation Programme will help our resellers become even more competitive in the business market,” says Martine Dodwell-Bennett, sales and marketing Director, Steljes. “The benefits that gold accredited resellers receive will help them target more global opportunities, whilst silver accreditation allows resellers to become more competitive in the small to medium size market.”

“As more customers in the United Kingdom adopt SMART solutions in their businesses, they rely on the insight and expertise of their local resellers,” says Patrick Lelorieux, SMART’s vice president and general manager, EMEA for SMART Technologies. “The new SMART Reseller Accreditation Programme ensures that customers receive specialised support from accredited resellers who have an in-depth understanding of SMART’s business solutions.”
