Eyevis has introduced two new display solutions for permanently installed, modular video walls. The new 55-inch display (EYE-LCD-5500-XSN-LD-FX-700) with a small bezel of only 3.5 mm and a screen brightness of 700 cd/m² provides an alternative to the 500-nit-version for locations with bright ambient light conditions. The fan-free 47-inch LCD (EYE-LCD4700-USN-LD-FX) with a small bezel of only 4.9 mm complements the EYE-LCD-4600-M-USN-LD and offers an alternative for permanent installations.

Eyevis has introduced two new display solutions for permanently installed, modular video walls and 24/7 operation.

“The two new displays offer a cost-efficient product concept with professional, high-quality features: Planners and integrators in the fields of control and conference rooms, digital signage and TV studios are provided with high flexibility in terms of price. For the users, the displays offer the certainty to receive professional display technology for permanent installations at an attractive price-performance ratio,” explains Heiko Schaich, CTO of the eyevis group, demonstrates the advantages of the new displays.

With their 24/7 duty cycles the new displays are described as ideal for digital signage applications. In control rooms, an around-the-clock representation of security cameras is desirable. With the optionally activated ‘non-stick-mode’, eyevis displays counteract burn-in effects and the premature aging of the TFT-cells. This is achieved by the integrated pixel-shift-technology, dynamic-pixel refresh and the high-quality electronic components.

For an uncomplicated installation, the new displays are equipped with an internal matrix feature with loop through functionality for RS-232-control and digital video signal distribution. In this way, easy signal distribution across displays through a daisy chain is possible. Video walls can be assembled of a nearly unlimited number of displays. The loop through-feature even enables looping through of 4K-signals.
