Peerless-AV® will be showcasing the next generation Smart City Kiosk for the first time in EMEA at ISE 2023, Hall 3, Booth #3F700. The new KOP555XHB, features an integrated 55″ Xtreme™ High Bright Outdoor Display with full HD resolution, is available in black or silver and with or without two 4-inch, 100 watt, waterproof speakers to address all product and application requirements.
This next generation model comes with an IP55 rated media cabinet, providing a spacious, enclosed storage area for AV components and an integrated fan for active cooling. A new base cover conceals all power and data cabling running upwards from the bottom centre and secure rear doors allow quick access to the display and storage area for maintenance purposes.
Also new is the option to incorporate a 10-point IR touch overlay to transform the kiosk into an interactive digital advertising, wayfinding or infotainment solution. The plug and play design makes adding touch to the Xtreme display a convenient extra and an overlay with heater version is also available for climates where ice and snow could accumulate on the screen to ensure digital content visibility at all times.
The Xtreme display’s fully-sealed, all-weather design prevents the ingress of foreign materials, such as water, dust, moisture and insects from entering the display and has an operating temperature of -35°C to 60°C. The Smart City Kiosk is wind tested up to 135 mph and its stylish, stainless steel and aluminium body, combined with an outdoor rated paint finish, provides the ultimate in corrosion resistance.
