PPDS has launched a new plugin for Q-SYS, enabling seamless integration of Philips digital signage, interactive displays, and All-in-One LED walls—powered by Android SoC—into the Q-SYS platform for cloud-based audio, video, and control.
Q-SYS is a cloud-first platform that combines AI, machine learning, and computer vision to deliver integrated audio, video, and control solutions. It is designed to enhance live, hybrid, and virtual experiences across multiple industries, including corporate, education, government, transportation, retail, and hospitality.
The PPDS Wave Plugin for Q-SYS integrates Philips Professional Displays with the Q-SYS platform, providing a user-friendly and versatile AV management solution. The plugin allows users to control key settings—such as power, volume, input source, brightness, and orientation—through a single interface. It also offers real-time status monitoring, secure cloud connectivity, and comprehensive display management for easy oversight and customisation.
Developed in partnership with The Farm, an official Q-SYS plugin development partner, the PPDS Wave Plugin is available via Q-SYS Designer Asset Manager and supports a range of Philips Android SoC displays, including the Signage 3000 Series (Q-Line), Signage 4000 Series (D-Line), and Interactive (T-Line).
PPDS is offering live demonstrations of the plugin’s capabilities at its network of studios, including the newly opened PPDS Studio NYC Metro.
Sian Rees, Global Director of Solutions and Partnerships at PPDS, commented: “This plugin leverages our API-first Wave platform, enabling customers to control our full range of Philips Professional Displays through a single, easy-to-integrate interface.”
Geno Zaharie, Principal of Alliances & Ecosystem at Q-SYS, added: “We’re proud to collaborate with PPDS to provide this integration, enhancing the experience for our shared customers.”
