    PPDS strengthens distribution with EARPRO for Iberia

    PPDS has announced a new partnership with the Midwich Group owned Spanish distributor EARPRO, bringing its full range of Philips’ digital signage and LED solutions to even more Pro AV/IT customers across the Iberian Peninsula.

    Midwich acquired EARPRO in 2017 as part of its own continued international expansion.

    The partnership strengthens the manufacturer’s global strategy in bringing market leading products with peace-of-mind regional support to customers across the globe, whether single or multiple international locations. The addition of Philips professional displays brings enhanced value for its ever-growing account base, with the opportunity to source digital signage and LED, together with EARPRO’s traditional core portfolio.

    EARPRO is one of Iberia’s biggest and most important value-added AV distributors, serving the Spanish, Portuguese and Andorran markets since 1988. With premises, including a showroom, training rooms and offices) in Barcelona and Madrid, as well as in Lisbon, EARPRO offers an extensive range of AV products and services across digital signage, projectors, LED displays, lighting, brackets, video control and audio, as well as support from its engineering department, repairs and logistics.

    Focusing on vertical markets that include public venues, corporate, educational, public sector and hospitality for its SYSTEMS stream, broadcast, theatres, rental AV and touring for its LIVE stream, and MI and audio pro shops and e-tailers for its RETAIL stream, a key focus for EARPRO will be around the latest range of digital signage solutions products in the PPDS portfolio.

    These include the Philips T-Line interactive display for education, the Philips C-Line collaborative display for corporate and the Philips B-Line range, as well as its ever-expanding LED range, such as the new ‘unlimited’ L-Line 7000 series, unveiled in December 2020. EARPRO has more than 15 years’ specialist experience in LED display distribution – making it a vital partner in PPDS’ ambitious growth plans in this ever-evolving space, with corporate and retail identified as key market opportunity areas.

    True partnership

    Midwich acquired EARPRO in 2017 as part of its own continued international expansion.The latest agreement further enhances and extends PPDS’ relationship with the Midwich Group, which plays an integral role in the manufacturer’s strategy to provide a global reach with local support to customers. PPDS’ newly launched specialist International Key Account Management (IKAM) project team provides a single point of contact for customers with multiple national and international locations, such as retail groups and corporations, when completing large scale installations.
