There has been a record number of entries for next month’s AV News Awards, held in the morning of the opening of ISE 2017 at the RAI Amsterdam. Overall, the total number of Awards entries increased by 28% this year, with the most popular categories being the AV Display Innovation of the Year, AV Network Innovation of the Year, AV Project of the Year (Education) and AV Project of the Year (Commercial).
Over the two remaining print editions of AV News before the show we will preview as many finalists as possible, with further profiles appearing in the Awards’ guide published at the presentation ceremony, and re-printed in the March edition of AV News.
Chairman of judges and AV News editor Bryan Denyer said: “I attribute the increase in the volume of entries to the increasing recognition of the AV News Awards across Europe and the seemingly relentless pace of innovation in AV technology. It all makes for a really exciting competition.” The AV News Awards are presented at a gourmet breakfast ceremony in the Diamond Lounge at the RAI Amsterdam at 8.30am on the 7th February 2017, the first day of ISE 2017.
