Following the most successful DSS Europe, AV News talks to co-chair Florian Rotberg.
AVN – Many thanks for taking the time out of your busy schedule to talk to us today. DSS Europe in Munich has been a regular fixture in the world of Digital Signage now for a number of years. Would you be good enough to provide our readers with an overview of invidis and this event?
FR – invidis consulting is Europe’s leading boutique strategy consultancy for digital signage. We advise global clients across EMEA and beyond in strategy, M&A and experience design – and we provide valuable insights for the industry through our different channels.
We started DSS Europe, which is run in a joint venture with Integrated Systems Events, in 2006, and up to now the conference has developed into a knowledge hub and first-class networking event for the international digital signage industry.
AVN – As a manufacturer, why would you consider exhibiting or speaking at DSS Europe?

AVN – What number of attendees do you normally attract to DSS E Munich and what are their job function?
FR – Last year, we attracted 450 visitors, and most of them are C-level leaders of international digital signage companies.

AVN – Is DSS Europe your only regional event in Europe?
FR – DSS Europe is, definitely, our flagship and is special in the way that we run it in the joint venture with Integrated Systems Events, as well as the DSS at ISE. Apart from that, invidis organises conferences around the world, for example in China or at InfoComm in the US.
