Sahara Presentation Systems Plc has announced its move to new 290,047 ft² premises, shared with its logistic partner, Europa Worldwide Group, to accommodate the company’s rapid growth and future expansion plans.  The facility will enable Sahara to boost its current capacity by 50% with the opportunity for further development on the new site.

The joint move will see both companies relocate from their current premises on Hailey Road in Erith, to the new building in Dartford. It effectively brings Sahara’s production and logistics under one roof.  Europa has been Sahara’s logistics partner for over 10 years, handling inbound logistics from across Europe and Asia and carrying its entire pallet freight.

The success of the Clevertouch range of products, Sahara’s own-brand of large format interactive touchscreens, has been instrumental in the company’s growth over the past few years.  Clevertouch is currently the UK market leader within the education sector.  Demand for this technology is predicted to grow rapidly from both the education and corporate sector in the years ahead.

Longer term benefits will be realised by Sahara’s distribution business which will have the ability to attract new manufacturers enabling it to offer a wider range of products to its reseller network.  Sahara currently offers over 1,000 presentation products sold through approximately 1800 resellers in the UK and 80 internationally.  The new facility will enable it to increase its product range to resellers by over 50%.

Kevin Batley, Managing Director at Sahara said: “It’s been a very exciting few years for Sahara. We have outgrown our current premises and this move will allow us to comfortably meet the demands of our existing customers as well as enabling us to realise our plans for future expansion.”
