Following a highly competitive tendering process, Saville Audio Visual has achieved approved supplier status on the NHS Shared Business Services (NHS SBS) framework.
NHS SBS is a joint venture between the Department of Health and Sopra Steria. Inaugurated in 2005 it is the largest provider of business services to NHS England. This framework can be utilised by all NHS Trusts and the company’s inclusion in the Television and Audio Visual sector will provide enhanced opportunities to provide further services and systems integration in healthcare.
The company has a long history in providing innovative audio visual and integrated systems to hospitals, primary care facilities including GP and Dental practices. This accreditation complements the extensive and successful specialist telemedicine and video conferencing projects Saville have supplied to NHS trusts across the UK over many years.
This shared services framework is designed to allow a wide range of healthcare professionals direct access to high specification AV procurement whilst realising cost savings of up to 40% per Trust. Saville Commercial Director Andy Dyson commented:
“This award as a preferred supplier to the NHS is fantastic news for Saville. Historically we have had many opportunities with existing clients where we they have wanted to procure audio visual equipment and services from us but have been unable to progress these due to lack of relevant framework membership. This is a notable first for the company and is a clear testament to our commitment in providing excellent, cost effective services delivered with outstanding attention to customer satisfaction.”
