This network-as-a-service (NaaS) is powered by Wifinity, a Wi-Fi Internet service provider active in the education, defence, retail and leisure markets. The end-to-end, fully managed NaaS solution requires no large capital outlays for users and is billed on a monthly cycle.
The solution has been developed based on Steljes’ 27 years of experience in the education technology industry, specifically for use in education where the use of smart devices has increased dramatically. BESA, the trade association for education suppliers, has forecast a 200% rise in the presence of tablets in the classroom by the end of 2020.
“It is the lack of usable Wi-Fi infrastructure that is currently holding back the most effective use of smart devices. As a result, there is a requirement for efficient Wi-Fi. Steljes Networks provides the robust network infrastructure to deliver high speed, safe and reliable Internet access for students,” says Martin Large, CEO of Steljes.
“We’re delighted to have entered into this exclusive agreement with a company like Wifinity that is so well regarded in the industry, especially for its work with the likes of the Ministry of Defence.”
