Maverick has agreed a new pan-European relationship with Barco. Maverick Europe director Jon Sidwick describes this new partnership as being perfect for the introduction of new and innovative technology, includingh Barco’s new ClickShare. “With our European central supply chain model we can offer flexible European stock, high quality scalable channel development plus deep specialist touch, delivering the channel immediate value added support, backed up by our European marketing and logistics engine”.
Maverick, says Sidwick, is the leading the technology shift from presentation to collaboration, supporting the view that is endorsed by most leading companies today that ‘knowledge work is the key to business success.’ Substantial opportunities with new, key technologies are being offered to Maverick resellers, presenting a unique opportunity to develop incremental revenue streams as well as enhance current and newly specified solutions.
Sidwick believes that ClickShare is one of the most exciting products to be introduced into the market. He describes the initial channel response as being unprecedented. “We have been overwhelmed with the response to ClickShare. The Maverick European teams are busy supporting the launch with reseller recruitment and enablement events which are already oversubscribed.”

In a second announcement, Jane Hammersley rejoins the Maverick team, bringing a wealth of knowledge regarding collaboration practices and environments combined with extensive corporate and AV channel experience, making her the ideal person to launch and support ClickShare. “Jane is responsible for ensuring the delivery of a consistent Pan European approach with locally relevant development activity.
