    Vestel Partners with Exertis

Vestel Visual Solutions announce distribution deal with Exertis, encompassing its entire range of commercial displays as well as its portfolio of interactive screens (IFPDs) for business and education.

The move follows Vestel UK’s strategic expansion of its own-brand display products in the UK, which has seen the European OEM manufacturer gain significant market share across the commercial display, corporate and education sectors.

Bringing those economies of scale to bear on Vestel’s own-brand display products has allowed resellers and integrators to specify much higher specification products into jobs that are heavily cost sensitive.

Comments John Perry, Business Manager for Display at Exertis, “As we looked for a display supplier to extend our existing product portfolio, Vestel quickly became the natural partner of choice. We have similar, ambitious growth plans for the UK market and as we already distribute Toshiba TV, also part of Vestel, we were aware of the reliability and robustness of Vestel screens in the field. The company’s sheer scale means that Exertis can offer Vestel’s performance, and feature specification at a highly competitive price, which in turn, will deliver incredible value to our resellers and integrator customers.”

The distribution agreement covers all Vestel’s commercial signage display range from entry-level models to advanced 4K UHD, high bright, Android-OS based screens up to 98”. Exertis will take on Vestel’s new ‘+’ series displays later in the year when the company launches system-on-chip models to enhance the operating speed and ease of use of the display range. The Android OS offers the widest compatibility with commercial CMS services and other display content. The deal also encompasses Vestel’s full range of IFPDs for education and corporate markets.

Tim Matthews, Senior Product Manager at Vestel added, “Exertis is one of the most dynamic and forward-thinking technology distributors in the UK, working with upwards of 13,000 resellers, retailers, and integrators. The scale of Exertis’s business, as well as its growth plans, align perfectly with Vestel UK’s strategic expansion and plans to gain a commanding share of the UK commercial display and IFPD market.”

Made in Vestel’s European factory, the entire own-brand display range benefits from much faster lead times, lower transport costs and lower transportation carbon footprint than models manufactured in the Far East. Supply chain, manufacturing and sustainability are fully compliant with European regulations, with Quality Assurance throughout the production.

“Building on the existing relationships we have at Vestel and reliability and super value proposition of its display range, we are expecting to do big things with Vestel in the coming years,” adds John Perry at Exertis. “Display and IFPD are a natural fit for our portfolio and customer base, and we anticipate offering other Vestel display solutions, including LED walls and hospitality screens, in the future.”
