ViewSonic Europe announces the availability of its new projector software update tool. This enables users to download and upgrade to the latest projector firmware without the need to visit a service centre – saving them time and money. As AV software evolves and the use of projectors continues to grow – in both education and home cinema environments – users need the flexibility to be able to complete firmware upgrades easily and efficiently.
Accessed online via the ViewSonic website, the simple two-step process involves users downloading the latest projector update and connecting the hardware to a laptop via the Mini USB cable to allow the update to take place. The upgrade function has already been rolled out across many of ViewSonic’s projector ranges – featuring both lamp and laser models.
