    ViewSonic shows 84" IFPD at BETT 2014

    ViewSonic ViewBoardViewSonic is to present an 84” Windows 8 tablet, the ViewBoard. at BETT 2014 (stand F62). The new IFPD is easy and intuitive has been tried out by AV News and is easy to use, fast, accurate and produces good colour. The Windows 8 compatible ViewBoard series features ultra-high resolution and is embedded with multiple advanced infrared sensors, and built-in PCs with powerful CPUs. The displays come with an interactive software enabling users to draw and annotate easily on the ViewBoard, while recording all notes and contents. A wide range of applications available on the Microsoft Store and specifically designed with classrooms in mind help increase productivity and interactivity. The ViewBoard series is available in 55’’, 65’’, 70’’ and 84”. ViewSonic will also show its ultra-short throw interactive projectors. The PJD8653ws can project an 81″ image from only 2 feet away, providing an accessible interactive solution for smaller spaces and limited budgets. With an optional interactive package, the PJD8653ws supports dual interactive pens for collaborative learning and turns any surface into an interactive whiteboard. The PJ-PEN-003 dual interactive pens allow 2 users to simultaneously annotate, write, or draw on the projected image.“The need for more interactivity has become vitally important in the changing classroom. ViewSonic has been leading the desktop transformation for over 25 years, and we’re continuing that forward momentum with our latest products at this year’s BETT show,” said Brian Wei, Product & Marketing Director. “Our interactive products, 84” HD displays, and touch innovations are ideal for today’s generalised IT trends.”

    NB – This year,ViewSonic believes that Android-powered Cloud display will start to make a significant contribution to the company’s sales. Featuring a 24″ 1920×1080 Full HD IPS panel with wide viewing angle, the VSD241 can be the perfect solution to be used as an extended touch monitor through the HDMI input, or as a standalone monitor benefiting from the built-in Android Operating System with access to Google Play store and Google Apps for Education. Designed specifically with classrooms in mind, the VSD241 is a versatile tool that can easily adapt to the different classes through a wide variety of educational apps and making full use of the display’s touch capability.
