Vision launched a new range of wall-mounted loudspeakers at ISE. Now shipping is the SP-1800 passive units which are constructed of ABS plastic and using a 3-way design to improve audio quality. The SP-1800 uses a 5.25” woofer coupled with a bass reflex port.
Following on in March will be the SP-800P – the lowest cost active speakers in the new range. They have a smaller chassis with a 4” driver, coupled with a 2 x 12w amplifier. Both models have a horizontal C bracket to allow 60 degrees of tilt. The SP-1800 will have an SSP of GBP 109 / EUR 144; the SP-800P has an SSP of GBP 135 / EUR 178.
