Vivitek has announced the expansion of its Novo Ecosystem, which offers wireless collaboration and digital signage functionalities. The NC-X700 and the NC-X900 are new additions to Vivitek’s range of NovoConnect devices. Both add-on devices are ideally suited to those who already have a flat screen or a projector but wish to enhance or extend their existing AV infrastructure with wireless presentation functionality or maximize their screen use with digital signage.

Vivitek’s new models stand out in the market for facilitating more than just a wireless connection, instead offering true collaboration. Users of the NC-X700 and the NC-X900 can share their content wirelessly from any device to the main screen.

Connection is simple, thanks to the NovoConnect App mirroring the content from mobile devices and laptops, facilitating BYOD and making it easy to bring ideas and content to a big screen. For enhanced convenience, NC-X700 and NC-X900 users can also connect using Windows 10 Miracast. In addition, NC-X900’s dual-Wi-Fi capacity enables native Windows (Miracast), Mac OS and iOS (AirPlay), and Android (Google Cast) mirroring, eliminating the need to install any software. Guests benefit from the convenience of the USB LauncherPlus, which is an optional extension for direct Wi-Fi connectivity from any laptop.

As part of NovoConnect’s feature set, there is a complete suite of collaboration tools. Its functionality ranges from the ability to switch participants’ screens dynamically, to displaying up to four participants simultaneously. Meanwhile, advanced moderation functions help the meeting host to remain in control of the meeting agenda.

The NC-X700 and NC-X900 offer more than ‘just’ wireless collaboration. Both models add even more value by offering a seamless switch to digital signage in 4K resolution. Thanks to its built-in NovoDS digital signage, creating messages and company announcements is made easy through its intuitive drag-and-drop interface.

Commenting on the launch of the NC-X700 and the NC-X900, Holger Graeff, General Manager, Vivitek EMEA, said: “Our popular Novo Ecosystem is now extended with the introduction of the NC-X700 and the NC-X900. Our desire is to add products that will help our customers to boost their meeting productivity and communication capabilities without compromising security. Our Novo Ecosystem is unique in its ability to meet the needs of AV and IT professionals alike, enabling them to upgrade or renew their visual displays in meeting rooms to provide wireless visual communication and drive effective collaboration.”

The NC-X700 is available immediately from £999 ex. VAT. The NC-X900 will be available in Q2-2020 from £1,299 ex. VAT.
