While the success of IFPDs has limited the adoption of interactive ultra-short throw projectors in the UK market, Vivitek has announced two new models (DH759USTi and D756USTi) to take advantage of growth in other markets. The new models offer: Full HD and WXGA resolution; increased ease of use; functionality and connectivity. Set-up is simplified with HID driver-free recognition for the interactive pens.
Interactive capabilities are enhanced with an upgrade from four finger to ten finger touch. The multi-touch supports gesture usage – like pinch and zoom, rotation, click and flicking. The D759USTi will project a maximum screen size of 100” from just 44cm. Described as ideal for all education institutions, the models deliver high brightness, contrast and colour performance, creating up to a 110” diagonal image. Suited to rooms where space is limited, the DH759USTi and D756USTi keep students engaged, while meeting a school’s typical space, budget and maintenance considerations.
The DH759USTi features Full HD resolution, bright 3,500 ANSI lumens with a high 10,000:1 contrast ratio and is equipped with a lamp life that lasts up to 7,000 hours with a total 2x10W audio power with microphone input for sound performance, while a host of I/O connectivity options including dual HDMI inputs ensure that the projector is future proofed. The D756USTi offers features with WXGA resolution, 3,300 ANSI lumens and a 10,000-hour lamp life.
With the complementary NovoScreennote Interactive Whiteboard software, multiple students can work simultaneously on an assignment on the whiteboard and screenshots can be captured and retrieved. It can also record the user actions performed on the computer for added convenience.
The projectors are available with a 5-year standard warranty or a 5-year full coverage warranty which includes the lamp life time for an average of 5 years (18,000 hours) for full peace of mind.
