ZetaDisplay has entered into a new partnership agreement with KFC Netherlands and Belgium and leading omnichannel CRM and order management platform BOOSTR Agency to deliver Digital Signage solutions to more than 100 KFC restaurants in the next 12 months.

ZetaDisplay has worked with KFC since 2015 with its webOS solution supporting the delivery of digital communications and campaigns in its restaurants in Nijmegen, Arnhem and Almere.

This partnership will see KFC’s Digital Signage estate expanding to include new and remodelled restaurants across the Netherlands and Belgium. Each restaurant will feature six screens as digital menu boards and tests are underway at several restaurants with external facing window digital screens aimed at passers-by.

For internal communications, the staff area of most restaurants will feature additional signage for “Crew TV”, which serves as KFC’s internal news network and communication channel.

The various means of communication in and around KFC’s restaurants are carefully coordinated and planned for each period through a nationwide path-to-purchase, with printed and digital assets seamlessly integrated. In this way, all touchpoints are consistently and effectively utilized.

Richard van Beeren – Sr. Digital Technology Manager, KFC Northern Europe:

“The Digital Technology team at KFC Northern Europe has ambitious goals around the guest experience in and around KFC’s restaurants. BOOSTR Agency is a strategic partner in this regard, integrating the various objectives, techniques and sub-contractors, including ZetaDisplay’s Digital Signage solutions. In partnership with BOOSTR Agency, we have laid out a challenging roadmap to bring the digital transformation and integration at KFC in a big way.”

ZetaDisplay is working in collaboration with BOOSTR Agency, a strategic approach that is bringing additional value to KFC. BOOSTR Agency has been working with KFC since 2020 and with offices in Amsterdam and Zwolle, delivers the execution of the marketing communication in and around all restaurants in Netherlands and Belgium, for both the head office and the individual franchise partners.

René de Jong , Marketing and Sales Director ZetaDisplay Netherlands comments:

“The digital customer journey that ZetaDisplay has developed for KFC, based on years of experience, fits perfectly with BOOSTR Agency’s vision and strategy. We are very much looking forward to this collaboration and will continue to challenge each other in order to best serve the customer.”

Bart de Kool – Managing Partner at BOOSTR Agency explains:

“Together with KFC, we defined a vision of the in-restaurant customer journey with which we entered the market. ZetaDisplay came out on top with competitive pricing, but above all a very strong innovation and integration pipeline that allows us to immediately execute the transformation we have in mind. We are very much looking forward to boosting KFC’s results.”
