Bang & Olufsen of Bexleyheath won the ‘Retailer of the Year’ category in the 2013 Bexley Business Awards. One of five local businesses that had been shortlisted for the award by an independent judging panel, the home emtertainment retailer was announced the winner after impressing with its commitment to customer service and unrivalled expertise.
Paul Blake, dealer principal at Bang & Olufsen of Bexleyheath, collected the award at a special gala dinner and awards ceremony. “There’s been a real shift to online retail in recent years but having a ‘high street’ presence is much more important to us, as not only are we continuing to support the local economy but being able to provide a personal service is vital to what we do – when we have an enquiry we like to take time to find out exactly what a customer needs, what audio-visual equipment they may already have and highlight the genuine solution to their requirements.”
