Boom Collaboration has announced UK availability of its smart bridge for seamless host switching, the Boom ARC, designed to unify in-room conferencing systems with Bring Your Own Meeting/Device workflows. The ARC auto-switches any room between a dedicated in-room PC running MTR, Zoom Room, or Google Meet and a BYOM laptop via a single USB-C connection. It addresses growing demand for flexible, user-friendly meeting experiences and protects existing room system investments while giving users the freedom to connect their own device. No re-cabling is required. Following extensive market testing, the solution is now available worldwide.

The ARC builds on Boom’s existing portfolio of conferencing solutions, including connectivity hubs, video bars, and complete room kits. It reduces complexity in meeting spaces while delivering the latest features available through modern conferencing platforms and personal devices.
