Computer 2000 is launching a major programme of sales and marketing activities to help resellers maximise opportunities in the education market over the spring and summer peak buying period. The distributor has launched its new Virtual Classroom, an online interactive resource that enables resellers to explore the benefits of solutions and the options available in different areas of the classroom.
The Focus on Education initiative is being driven by the Computer 2000’s dedicated Public Sector team. Workshops and webinars are planned and a special Guide to the Education Market is being produced. There will be a lead generation campaign and resellers will also be offered support in building quotations and special bids alongside a series of exclusive offers from leading vendors.
Cathi Low, director of Public Sector at C2000, said: “We want to give resellers an easy way to understand the benefits of different solutions – interactive whiteboards at the front of the classroom, touch-sensitive PCs and tablets that can be used by pupils in class, higher-performance wireless and infrastructure networking that deliver benefits right across the school or campus. Using the Virtual Classroom, resellers can see all of this and much more, and explore the different options they can offer from the excellent choice of products that we have in our portfolio.”
Computer 2000 has enhanced the information provided through its dedicated Public Sector micro site and on its InTouch online system to show the special education discounts currently available at both the quotation and ordering stages.
