InfoComm International is reverting to the Certified Audiovisual Solutions Provider designation for its company members. InfoComm changed the name to Audiovisual Solutions Provider program but is changing its back, from the 1 July, to accomodate changes in marketing programes and logo designs.

Midwich has announced new signings to its Pro Audio and Home Divisions. The distributor has signed a sub-distribution agreement with Italian manufacturer RCF, plus distribution agreements with Erard and Marmitek.
Specialist technical furniture manufacturer TeamMate is developing a market in the United States under the brand name of MediaMate.Following a number of meetings at InfoComm last year, the company has engaged Florida based Mediatech, a company involved in the research, design and manufacture of presentation and control systems, to represent their interests in the United States. As well as an obvious synergy with the TeamMate portfolio, Mediatech offers access to the Dell channel throughout the whole of the United States.
AVM has joined the Cisco Developer Network as a Preferred Solution Developer within the AV Integration technology category. In addition, AVM’s AV integration portfolio has successfully completed interoperability testing with Cisco’s Immersive TelePresence products.
Midwich has moved its stock to a new warehouse in Minworth near Birmingham. The movement of stock began in October and was completed at the beginning of December.

Midwich has announced that they will be launching the installation audio range from Monitor Audio. The range will be available through Midwich’s dedicated Pro-audio division which launched in June this year.
