Collage-TOLED-Touch03 (1)It will take delivery of the first TOLED displays in the UK after Project Manager Stephen Banks travelled to eyevis’ German headquarters to see the technology in operation and evaluate it against the competition.
The DB Systems hire fleet of eyevis TOLED displays will be seen operating for the first time at the Farnborough Air Show from July 11 to 17.
The EYE-TOLED-5500 is a transparent OLED display module with a screen diagonal of 55 inches and an optional touch surface providing up to 40 simultaneous touch points. Thanks to the high transmissivity of the panel and the self-luminous properties of the organic LED material, this innovative display type is a first choice for installations in the centre of interior designs, anywhere between objects and viewers, in front of exhibits and products that require illustrations. It is perfect for museums, product presentation, POS display, interior, (e.g. installation in doors), sales areas, information areas, fairs and events.
DB Systems Project Manager Stephen Banks said: “After evaluating the eyevis TOLED technology which included visiting eyevis’ R&D and production HQ in Germany it was obvious that this was very high quality equipment and the best on the market. I was also very impressed with the eyevis way of doing things”.
“We pride ourselves on offering the best solutions and cutting edge technologies to our customers and are delighted to be the first in the UK to offer eyevis TOLED displays.”
Eyevis UK managing director Steve Murphy said: “After the ISE 2016 show in Amsterdam the TOLED displays were showcased for the first time at the Geneva Motor Show 2016 to present the new IONIQ by Hyundai, the first passenger car with three powertrain options.“They are a very high quality solution and we are delighted to be working with DB Systems to offer them for hire at exhibitions and special events in the UK for the first time.”
eyevis UK specialises in the development and production of high-quality video wall display systems and audio visual solutions to a range of clients.
