Exertis Pro AV has announced the appointment of Patrick Young as Microsoft Teams Specialist.

Microsoft Teams Room systems offer a fantastic way for those in the office to continue to meet and collaborate seamlessly with their colleagues working from home, allowing organisations to plan for a staged return to work or to embrace home working on a longer-term basis.  Microsoft Teams Room systems are also being used widely in the education sector to deliver effective distance learning in a safe and secure way.

Microsoft recently reported that they had exceeded 115 million active daily users across the world. Even before the current crisis, the use of Teams and Teams room devices was expanding at a fast rate, reflecting a changing approach to the contemporary workplace.

Patrick Young says, “Exertis Pro AV has some great Teams device vendors already in place and I’m looking forward to working alongside Microsoft to enhance our Teams offering, defining our proposition and supporting all of our customers to deliver great growth in this exciting sector.  As part of Microsoft’s new Distribution and Channel program for Teams Room systems, we’ve been given a fantastic opportunity as a partner to deliver both high quality certified hardware, a suite of services, as well as the Teams Room and Teams Room Premium licences to the channel.”

Greg Bennett, Head of AV Solutions at Exertis, adds, “We’re really excited to welcome Patrick to the Exertis Pro AV Team. As a key distribution partner for Microsoft, recruiting Patrick into the team with his talent, knowledge and experience will provide our customers with a fantastic resource to support them on the design, deployment and adoption of Microsoft Teams Rooms solutions. Combined with our extensive portfolio of Microsoft Teams Rooms products, certified devices, Microsoft Cloud Service Partner (CSP) status and a wealth of tools and services, Exertis Pro AV are uniquely placed to support our channel partners on all things Microsoft Teams.”
