Hitachi has announced the launch of a dynamic range of cutting-edge hospitality displays. Built in a variety of finishes, including a premium frameless design, the world-class 32”-65” Ultra HD and Full HD displays allow property managers to enhance the guest experience more easily and cost-effectively. Compatible with existing coax and data cable infrastructures, they reduce the cost of IP migration, providing a high-quality multimedia entertainment solution with familiar at-home amenities.

When combined with the Hitachi Hospitality Content Management Solution (CMS), each connected display transforms into a centrally controlled entertainment and communications hub that delivers personalised interaction, tailor-made content, and additional revenue.

“With this range, we believe we can address an important gap in the market for high-quality IPTV solutions that are faster and more convenient to implement.” said Barış Altınkaya, Deputy General Manager of Marketing and Product Management, Hitachi TV Europe. “Designed to suit a wide range of property types, these dynamic displays enable property managers to offer a connected, multi-device entertainment experience, without having to re-cable their properties, or invest in set-top boxes. Delivering exceptional audio-visual quality within sleek, ultra-slim designs, they provide an instant upgrade to the in-room entertainment, giving guests more freedom to watch and listen to what they want.”

    Cost-effective IP Migration

To keep installation and operational costs to a minimum, the Hitachi hospitality displays offer more flexible IP-over-coax and IP-over-data solutions.

    Customised Design

Built in a variety of finishes, including white and black colour cabinets, and alternative base stand options, the 32”, 43”, 50”, 55”, 58” and 65” displays come in a vast range of designs to suit the space, décor and ambience of individual properties and chains.

    Picture Quality

All the displays in the series deliver a more deeply immersive viewing experience.  Designed with Ultra HD 4K and Full HD panels, they offer exceptional picture clarity, and come with additional image processing technologies to refine the image quality, enhance the contrast, and eliminate any on-screen motion blur.  Sleek and elegant, they also come in a range of stripped back bezel designs, including a frameless bezel option, which strikingly brings the on-screen content to the fore.

    Home-away-from-Home Entertainment Experience

With embedded Bluetooth connectivity, the displays offer a multi-device entertainment centre, connecting guests to all the content they would personally choose to access at home. The displays’ integrated Software Access Point (SoftAP) extends the Wireless coverage areas, enabling guests to use Miracast screen mirroring to share their favourite movies, music, and photos from their smartphones, tablets, and laptops, straight onto the TV screens.

     Dual Audio Output

To deliver a more expansive in-room entertainment experience, the displays’ Dual Audio Output allows the TVs’ sound to be connected to the bathroom and other parts of the room with Bluetooth speakers.

    Convenient Multi-display Set-up Process

For property managers, the displays’ Cloning Mode ensures a more streamlined and convenient TV set-up process, allowing user-configured settings to be copied from the server to some or all the on-site displays.

     Hitachi Hospitality Content Management Solution

All the connected displays offer the possibility of a single-source property management system, with 3rd party software, or the Hitachi Hospitality Content Management Solution (CMS). Simplifying management and maintenance for properties of all sizes, the Hitachi CMS enables managers to have visibility of, and control over all in-room screens from a single central location. For simplified content creation, this solution also provides a fully customisable Guest User Interface (GUI).

    Property Management System (PMS) Integration

When integrated with a property management system (PMS), the Hitachi CMS supports a centralised, two-way communications platform through which properties can extend and build on their front desk capabilities, with an interactive digital concierge service. This integration can also facilitate a more convenient check-out process, allowing guests to review and securely settle their bills through their in-room displays.

“Together with the Hitachi CMS, these leading-edge displays can open up new and exciting avenues to engage, look after and inform guests.” said Jim Beswick, Television Product Manager, Hitachi Europe. “Ideal for many sectors, they support more personalised services, offering the possibility of delivering everything from bedside communications and medication reminders for hospital patients, to targeted incentives for hotel guests.”

The range will be available in most countries in Europe, including, amongst others, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Poland, Benelux Region, Croatia, Finland, Czech Republic, Greece, and Malta.
