PMA Research has posted their most recent Projector Tracking Service results to the “Top-Selling Projectors” area of their website. Headline conclusions include:
Pico and Personal Projectors – For Pico and Personal projectors, the September results showed Optoma took top honors with the PK-320. Optoma also had another projector make the Pico and Personal list with the ML550 coming in third. 3M landed the number two spot with the MP410. AAXA and ViewSonic rounded out this “Top 5” list with the P3 Pico and PLED-W200 in fourth and fifth, respectively. This “Top 5″ list is compiled from data collected from PMA’s monthly Retail Projector Tracking Service sample, which is made up of North American retailers and web resellers.
Mainstream Projectors – For the Mainstream category, InFocus took top honors in September with the best-selling IN112. Epson had a pair of projectors make the list with the PowerLite X12 coming in second and the PowerLite 93+ coming in third. NEC took the fourth spot with the NP-VE281X, and Hitachi rounded out the Mainstream list with the CP-X2521WN coming in fifth. This “Top 5″ list is compiled from data collected from PMA’s monthly Distributor Projector Tracking Service sample, which is made up of North American distributors.

High-End Projectors – For High-End projectors, NEC took top honours with the two best selling models in September. The NEC NP-PA550W-13XL came in first, followed by the NP-P401W. Optoma’s TH1060P came in third and Epson took the fourth spot with the PowerLite 1945W. Panasonic rounded out the High-End “Top 5” list with the PT-DZ570 in fifth. This “Top 5″ list is compiled from data collected from PMA’s monthly Pro AV Projector Tracking Service sample, which is made up of North American dealers and integrators.
