Mentor Distribution has teamed up with Repeat Software to bring resellers and their end user customers a new digital signage solution. Developed in the UK, Repeat Signage Standalone 2013 for Windows, is described as one of the “easiest digital signage software packages around”. It is said to allow the creation and playing of presentations in minutes, with a ‘what-you-see-is-what-you-get’ design function.
The developers of the signage solution are targeting education, small and large retail outlets, restaurants, leisure and entertainment venues and businesses. Users begin by designing a signage presentation to fit the size of a display, inserting pictures, animated gifs, text, audio, Flash banners, Flash video, Flash or digital clocks, PDF files, web browser and RSS feeds. The presentation is then saved and played to the screen, all from one software package.
Mentor is offering a free copy of Repeat Signage Standalone 2013 for any NEC public display purchased the distributor from 1 February 2013. Repeat Signage Standard edition is available for purchase from Mentor with a digital signage player.
