Denver-based NexGen Oil and Gas has enhanced its workplace environment with advanced digital signage solutions, installing large video walls in key gathering spaces. The project, carried out by systems integration firm Logic Integration, utilises Visix technology to improve both client and employee experiences.

In the lobby, a Visix six-output player was chosen to display a variety of content, including artistic imagery, in-house videos, and live television. The employee lounge features a Visix Element 4K media player, delivering corporate messaging and entertainment.

NexGen uses a hosted AxisTV Signage Suite content management system from Visix, with AxisTV Engage playback software integrated into each player. The six-output player supports a combination of live and on-demand TV from Apple TVs and a cable set-top box, controllable through a custom touch panel interface developed by Logic Integration.

“The lobby video wall can display a large continuous graphic or multiple live feeds, such as sports events and corporate content,” said Dylan Cassagnol, Marketing Coordinator and Executive Administrator for Logic Integration. The custom interface allows for selectable outputs to feed different sections of the video wall, ensuring a dynamic visual presentation.

Visix’s multi-output players, available with four, six, ten, or twelve outputs, are capable of reproducing high-resolution content in landscape or portrait mode, supported by Intel processing and high-performance graphics cards.

The Visix Element 4K media player in the employee lounge provides native-resolution content and serves as both a break room and meeting space. The Visix software manages and delivers pre-scheduled corporate content through the Element player.

Logic Integration’s technology selections for the project also include Planar video walls, Crestron control, and Datapath capture cards. For more information about Visix digital signage players, visit visix.com/digital-signage-media-players.
