Following a successful BETT, Promethean has announced that Miami-Dade County Public Schools, the fourth largest school district in the U.S., has selected Promethean as the exclusive supplier of interactive whiteboards for over 10,000 classrooms. The record single order places one of Promethean’s ActivBoard Touch systems in every classroom and include an 18-month professional development programme to help Miami-Dade Public School educators unite their curricula and teaching styles with Promethean’s solutions.
CDW-G, a leading IT solutions and services provider, will work closely with Promethean to deliver the ActivBoard Touch systems to Miami-Dade. Director of K-12 at CDW-G, Joe Simone commented “This historic project has the opportunity to reshape learning for more than 350,000 students.
