Red Solutions has been appointed as UK distributor of Encoded Media, a UK developer of solutions for delivering video over the Internet and computer networks, marking Red Solutions’ move into third-party distribution. Managing director of Red Solutions Rob Sheriff explains: “Adding full distribution services is a natural evolution of our business model. Red Solutions has served its vendor partners as a sales agent since its establishment in 2003, providing sales and technical support to AV integrators and resellers on behalf of a range of brands from the UK including OneLan, OneMedia, Datapath and SY Electronics.”
Under the terms of the distribution agreement, Red Solutions will supply Encoded Media’s full range of video over IP solutions, including the Presentation Suite for business, SchoolVision Recorder and Lecture Capture for education as well as Digital TV Server, its fully featured yet affordable IPTV platform. Presentation Suite and SchoolVision Recorder make recording and broadcasting to any size of audience as easy as sending email, while the Lecture Capture records lectures and lessons automatically for live streaming or storing for later viewing on demand. Digital TV Server brings broadcast-quality digital TV and recorded video to every desktop and screen on your network for a fraction of the cost of traditional systems.
Red Solutions will launch Encoded Media’s range of solutions at its AV-IP Convergence Tech Event to be held on Thursday 28th June at Beaumont House in Old Windsor. Resellers and their customers will be able to get hands on with the products, attend free seminars and book an appointment at the AV-IP surgery to discuss how best to incorporate video over IP into live or forthcoming projects.
