
The acquisition of video conferencing and audio visual specialist Videonations by Nimans opens the door to new reseller sales opportunities. The distributor says dealers can now tap into an additional expert resource as part of a specialist group division – helping them gain a bigger foothold in a multi-million-pound industry.
“It’s a move that confirms our belief in the importance of audio and visual solutions; rapidly advancing our capability and credibility in providing unified communications to a growing network of resellers,” said chairman Julian Niman. “Our market research predicts significant acceleration in video conferencing in the SMB market. Established in 2001, Videonations has offices in London and Manchester, with state-of-the-art demonstration facilities at both sites. Leading brands include LifeSize, Polycom, Radvision and Tandberg / Cisco. “Videonations delivers a broad spectrum of high definition video conferencing equipment; from desktop systems for one-to-one communication, room video conferencing and telepresence for group collaboration, to infrastructure solutions for multipoint video conferencing,” Niman added.
