Stage Audio Works (SAW) Namibia recently completed a conferencing system upgrade for an insurance company at its Windhoek headquarters, allowing SAW Namibia to demonstrate its commitment to trusted, long-term support. As the insurance company had already standardised the use of Logitech across its operations, SAW Namibia was tasked with supplying and installing an improved Logitech solution that aligned with specific guidelines. “We have known this client for a long time, and recently reached out to reconnect,” says Emcé Smit, Technical Manager at SAW Namibia. “When they told us that upgrades were needed for their existing system, we were ready to assist. The client already had a good idea of what was required, with only a couple of brainstorming sessions required to finalise the equipment list.”

Key to the company’s mission was to maximise its meeting spaces and utilise the existing system as part of the upgrade. “The client had decided to convert to Microsoft Teams Rooms for ease of operation,” Smit explains. “In the main boardroom, we integrated a Logitech Microsoft Teams Room system using a combination of new and existing equipment, creating a user-friendly environment that allows teams to connect and collaborate across Logitech hardware and Microsoft software.” SAW Namibia also fitted a further meeting space with a Logitech system to adhere to their internal technology standard. “We supplied and installed a Rally Bar Mini, a Rally Mic Pod, and a Tap IP touch control interface, in addition to Logitech integration accessories. This configuration ensures consistent performance and usability across the insurance company’s meeting spaces, with the room set up as a Microsoft Teams Room on Android,” notes Smit.

Due to additional upgrades taking place throughout the insurance company’s headquarters, SAW Namibia was not the only team working on-site. “As part of the wider building upgrade, the meeting space was being completely refurbished with custom joinery and new lighting to modernise the space,” Smit reveals. “The only challenge we faced during this project was the extremely tight deadline. We were very dependent on the other subcontractors completing their tasks before we could proceed with our own installation work.” Despite these challenges, the project was delivered on schedule – a reflection of SAW Namibia’s commitment to precision, efficiency and teamwork. This upgrade stands as an example of SAW Namibia’s dedication to long-term partnerships and delivering future-ready environments for its clients. “We aim to be more than a service provider; our customers rely on SAW Namibia as a dependable partner dedicated to safeguarding and strengthening their projects every step of the way,” reassures Smit. “Customer centricity is one of our core values, and we take pride in offering reliable, long-term support whenever it’s needed.”
