So how do pick the highlights from an exhibition featuring 825 exhibitors? It’s almost impossible to be objective about it, so here is our highly subjective list of exhibits and trends that caught the eye of our editorial team.

Peerless-AV has added a new range of kiosks and trolleys to its portfolio. New products range from multi screen video wall trolleys through to single screen stands for education and video conferencing, to secure kiosks designed for way-finding and public information applications.
The latest figures from Pacific Media Associates (PMA)forecast a worldwide pico projector market of 58 million units by 2015, up from about 3 million units in 2011.
Despite the increase in numbers, exhibitors voiced concerns about the timing of next year’s BETT (30 January- 2 February 2013 at the new venue of ExCel London) which sees the education show clashing with ISE 2013 (29 – 31 January 2013).
“A lack of industry support” is blamed for the cancellation of this year’s CEDIA Home Technology Event by the organisers. The event was scheduled to take place at ExCeL London from the 29 – 31 May 2012 but exhibitors “have failed to sign up in sufficient numbers to make the event viable this year”.
