B-Tech AV Mounts has added a new member of staff to handle its growing business in Asia. Yun Yang has joined the team in Ningbo, China as a project and sales manager and will be helping to promote the B-Tech range of professional AV mounting solutions across the Asia-Pacific region. The company has had an office in Hong Kong for over 10 years, but now feels it is important to expand its presence with a base in the mainland. Yun, who has a masters’ degree from Nottingham University, will now be based at B-Tech’s office in Ningbo. Yun said: “I am thrilled to have the opportunity to be working for an esteemed British- company in my own country. So far, we have a team of three and I will be responsible for promoting the B-Tech range of professional AV mounting solutions in China and across the Asia-Pacific region. B-Tech is a very ambitious company with a real worldwide presence and it is an exciting opportunity for me.” Matt Bennett, managing director of the B-Tech International Group of companies, said: “We are delighted to bring Yun Yang on board. Obviously being from China means she has the language skills that will help us develop relationships with the factories and distributors we use. With long experience in international business we have realised it is essential to have staff who are familiar with other languages, cultures and practices. Yun has valuable experience in the industry and will be helping develop sales and managing projects.”
